The 47 Buddy Davis is one of the earliest Custom Carolina turned production models produced. Designed by legendary custom builder, Buddy Davis in Wanchese, NC these boats represent the results of years of custom boat building refinements by trial and use of the craftsmen who produced them. Buddy Davis boats were built to perform in sea conditions that were not always blue bird pretty in the waters in and around Oregon Inlet, North Carolina. The 47 is one of the first production fiberglass hull designs to come out of Carolina. This boat is built for fishing as well as comfort while at sea or dockside. The interior amenities are straight forward and easy to maintain. In particular, The "Permit" has a long history of success in the sport fishing world and has been maintained and loved by a knowledgeable seller and fisherman. She has seen some of the worlds best fishing in the Atlantic and Pacific and ready to see more in the years to come.

Upon salon entry you are greeted by a sizable salon with a straight sofa to port and an L-shaped sofa to starboard. The floor is carpeted and in excellent condition. Overhead you will notice a nice soft headliner with rod storage located close to the salon door for easy deployment. In the forward salon area to starboard, a dinette with teak table top and comfortable bench is located. To the port side of the forward salon you find the galley with a sink, two burner stove, microwave and full upright refrigerator. More than ample stowage is located under countertop and in the lockers built into the forward brow area.

  • Further forward beyond the galley and dinette area is step down companionway leading to the guest and master staterooms. To starboard at the base of the steps you will find a stack washer and dryer and the guest head. The guest head has a full enclosed shower, head and sink. The ship's main service panel is located to the port side of the companionway at the base of the third step. The guest stateroom is located just beyond the service panel to port. The berths in the guest stateroom are arranged as L-shaped cross over bunks. Further forward you will locate the Master stateroom. The master has an island style queen berth, stylish wall decor and soft goods along with ample cloths storage throughout. The forward location of the Master stateroom provides quiet evenings away from the main salon area. The Master head is located forward V section of the vessel. It is generous in size, has a full walk in shower, head and sink.
