Why a Trawlercat?

Not surprisingly, power catamarans are the fastest growing sector of boats in the market today.  Many boaters (both power and sail!) love the stability, space, and ease of use that a power catamaran can provide.

The Endeavour Trawlercat 36 is the PERFECT boat for the Great Loop or Florida Keys/Bahamas cruising!

• Stability not only at the dock, but at at anchor and while underway.  While other sailboats and trawlers despise a rolly anchorage or wake from a passing boat, the twin hulls of the catamaran keep the boat stable and safe.  
• Space both inside and out! Looks can be deceiving... don't underestimate how much room this 36' has!  Many have compared the living space equivalent to a 40′ traditional trawler with the separation of the inside accommodations and the large space on deck.
• Efficiency with reliable Yanmar 125HP twin diesel engines. Cruise easily at 8-10 knots with a fuel burn of about 2 gph per engine, or throttle up and run at 12-14 knots when you need to outrun a storm.
• You can cruise virtually anywhere! The compact design has a 15' beam which allows you to fit into nearly all standard slips and travel lifts for haul outs. The 14' air draft lets you cruise the ICW or Great Loop without being at the mercy of bridge openings.  The shallow 3' draft means you can explore the nooks and crannies of your destination without fear of running aground.
