Sleek hull lines and curves, a roomy cockpit, excellent handling and great performance successfully blend with extraordinary belowdeck comfort, quality construction and fine attention to detail. Like her sisterships, the 280 Express is no slouch on the water. She surges onto plane quickly and easily, maintaining her smooth ride for everyone aboard and living up to her designation as a true performance cruiser. She's also comfortable. In the cockpit, a double-wide helm seat and the fore- and aft-facing cockpit settees provide ample room for owners and guests. The ergonomic design includes plenty of space for extra electronics and, ensuring additional ease of movement, offers a center windshield walk-through and a companionway to the side rather than in the center. A cockpit sunlounge with cockpit table makes the 280 perfect for those summer-afternoon anchorages. Despite the room above the deck, the living space below seems to belong to a larger boat. The wide-open layout includes a crescent-shaped convertible dinette with cherry table to starboard and a full-service galley to port with an electric refrigerator and electric single burner stove.
